In the last two games of round 1 Puerto Plata was defeated by Immortals in Santiago 80-66. LDC Ignite beat Puerto Plata at home 68-60.



Immortals - Puerto Plata 80-66

There was no surprise in Santiago where Puerto Plata was defeated by Immortals 80-66 on Sunday. Immortals dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Puerto Plata's 38. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Immortals made 9 blocks. Forward Randy Ovalle (201-2004) stepped up and scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American swingman Ralph Bellamy (194-1996, college: Harris-Stowe St.) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds.
